Course Overview

The course aims to provide knowledge and skills necessary to document and log the unique ID numbers, description, test and examination date and status of the lifting appliances and equipment register.

Who Should Attend

All personnel charged with ordering, controlling, maintaining, documenting rigging equipment, and all rigging supervisory personnel.

On completion, participants will be able to demonstrate competence in the theory and practice of the following:

Documentation, Master & Working Copy Correctly Identifying equipment (Warehouse)

Tracking equipment from, requisition, P.O. to Register Correctly Identifying equipment (Field)

Request venders to correctly stamp & supply certification on equipment at P.O. level
Correctly identify and stamp unique I.D. numbers & markings in Warehouse and in Field
Set up and monitor inspection & testing schedules
Understand Certification, Legislation, Specifications & Standards Used
Understand Documentation, Terminologies, Tracking equipment from requisition, P.O. to Register
Understanding Certifying Authorities
