Course Overview

The aim of the Shallow Water Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment training is to complement initial and further offshore safety and emergency response training and assessment (i.e., BOST, FOT, BOSIET, FOET) for personnel travelling to an offshore oil and gas installation by helicopter when issued with a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS).

Who Should Attend ?

Personnel travelling to an offshore oil and gas installation by helicopter who require additional training in a Compressed Air Emergency reathing System (CA-EBS) will complete this training.

  • Use of Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
  • Use of Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
  • Practical Helicopter Escape
  • CA-EBS Training (In-Water)
  • Deploying, operating and breathing from EBS equipment at atmospheric pressure in dry conditions.
  • Deploying, operating and breathing from the EBS in a pool utilizing personal air (must experience positive and negative pressure created by body orientation in the water)
