Course Overview

This course provides the review basic theoretical knowledge of scaffolding structures and practical skill required to safely establishing and altered on Independent, Tower, Birdcage and Cantilever Platform Structures, erected from Standard Tubes and Fittings. Recognize safety hazards in the scaffolds listed. Know and take the appropriate actions to prevent or remedy a hazard in the scaffolds listed.

  •     Review Scaffolding definitions & British Standard requirements
  •     Review Scaffolding Foundation and Gin Wheel
  •     Independent Tied Scaffolding, Static Tower, Mobile Tower, Birdcage and Cantilevered Scaffolding
  •     SCAFFTAG SYSTEM
  •     On the job training with erection of Tower Scaffolding Level #1 and Independent Tied Scaffolding Level #2
  •     On the job training with dismantle of Independent Tied Scaffolding and Perform Good Housekeeping
