The course aims to provide knowledge and skills to correctly issue and receive all types of permit to work

All field personnel

Acquire competence in the theory and practice of the following:

• Standard permit to work – cold work

• Confined space entry permit

• Excavation permit

• Electrical isolation permit (Low voltage & High voltage)

• Hot work permit

• Fire fighting equipment – inhibition permit

and be able to:

• Identify hazards associated with the work task

• Conduct pre-job start checks

• Conduct pre-operational checks

• Understand Permit issuer’s responsibilities

• Understand Permit receiver responsibilities
