| • Precautions to be taken prior to entering enclosed spaces |
| • Familiarization with international measures concerning accident prevention and occupational health |
| • An understanding of orders and be understood in relation to shipboard duties |
| • Means to effective human relationships on board a ship |
| • Importance of maintaining good human relationships aboard a ship |
