Course Overview

This course will cover the review of basic theoretical knowledge of Personal Fall Protection, Rescue & First Aid and practical skill for safely establishing on Body Support, Anchorage, Connectors, procedures and equipment that is necessary to rescue people from work at height.

Who Should Attend

All Personnel who required to work at height which involves in using the necessary height safety equipment to do work safely and also be able to conduct a rescue from height.

Course Outline

  •     Legislation / Regulation
  •     Review Fall Protection Basic (limitation)
  •     Review Fall Prevention, Fall Arrest System and Personal Fall Arrest System
  •     Review Special Equipment SRL/VLL/HLL
  •     Review Basic Working at Height Equipment Inspection and Maintenance
  •     Review Step of Rescue, Component of R-250 & R-350 and Inspection & Maintenance
  •     Review, Discussion, Tool Box Meeting and HA/JSA
  •     Basic Working at Height Equipment Inspection and Maintenance (Hand on)
  •     Full Body Harness don & doff (Hand on)
  •     Suspension Trauma & Practical for Self-Rescue (Hand on)
  •     100% Tie Off Practical (Hand on)
  •     Vertical Lifeline Setting/Dismantle
  •     Work positioning (positioning lanyard/static rope grab)
  •     Fall restrains (lanyard/static rope grab)
  •     Horizontal lifeline setting/Dismantle
  •     Demonstration & Group Practical to Rescue raise and lowering with Rescue Kit (R-250 & R-350)
