Course Overview

This programme is designed for people in critical well control positions on drilling installations as well as onshore roles.  The candidates will complete an IWCF accredited training course, taught according to IWCF syllabus, in order to prepare them for assessment.

Who should attend (Level 3)

Recommended for any role that is expected to shut-in a well. A Level 2 course should be successfully completed prior to taking a Level 3 course. Roles Include but not limited to Driller, Assistant Driller, Equivalent positions in well servicing and Equivalent positions in intervention operations.

Who should attend (Level 4)

Recommended in addition to content covered in Level 3 training, wellsite supervisory and office-based personnel that are primarily involved with the well design and operational decision making process. Also those involed with potential well kill methodology should be trained to this high level.
